is there any harm to my baby?

hi everybody! last month i had checked my TSH level and it comes 5.1...my doc. told its high so she put me on levothyroxine 25mg..this month i got pregnant..i m 5 weeks now..now i m very concerned about my baby's development..if i continue my medicine, is there any harm to my baby?what should i do now? do i have to doubled my dosage?

First of all, Congratulations on your pregnancy!
Levothyroxine is used with precaution during pregnancy, so if you just found out you're pregnant then you may want to contact your doctor and let him know to see if he wants you to stop taking it. I wouldn't take it anymore until I spoke with him.

Try not to stress out about what harm you could have caused your baby, after all, over the next few months you will be routinely monitored, tested, and guided through your pregnancy. Take it easy and relax-- it's best for your baby :)
