Hi...this is my first pregnancy(37 weeks)...iam 27....my due date is feb 26.
My Dr said that the baby should have dropped by now into the pelvis....which did not happened yet... she asked me to walk and squat .
My question is that.

Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. Week 36-37 is common for the baby dropping and thats probably why your doctor indicated that you should have dropped by now. Every woman is different though and a specific date or week could certainly change for each woman.
In regard to your question about a vaginal birth, you will have to wait to see what your doctor tells you. If your baby does not drop, I will assume that your doctor will suggest having a C section. Try to be patient and listen to what your doctor tells you about walking and squatting as this is common to help your baby to drop.
Please keep us posted and good luck.
Missie
