I take several prescriptions. Can this be why my mouth tastes salty?

Hello. Thank you for posting today.

From herbal remedies to prescribed pills, any form of medication you ingest may cause this salty side effect. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist and ask them about the effects of each drug or vitamin that you are consuming. If you can pinpoint this problem to a specific medication or remedy that you are currently undertaking, request for an alternative. Remember that there are over 400 different types of medications that can alter the sensitivity of your taste buds so make sure that you do not get prescribed another drug with the same side effects.
