Cheri:
Since I have been with Dr. Dahiya and he has performed a gastric bypass revision on me, my health has improved right from the start. Immediately my fever was gone. I didn’t have a low-grade temperature any more. I no longer felt sick inside, and the doctors and surgeons kept asking me, “Why do you eat?” Like it’s my issue that I am hungry and, you know, that it’s my fault that I put on weight, and I said, “Why do you eat?” And I said, “It’s because I am hungry.” And my stomach pouch was small, and it wasn’t my stomach pouch, it was the connection that was not right, and that’s why I never felt the feeling of being full.
So, after Dr. Dahiya did the procedure and made the gap tighter, I was finally able to feel full again, and that’s such a relief. And I know that before I had the original bypass procedure, I ate because I was hungry. I was hungry all of the time, and I am sure many of you can relate to that. In fact, in my chest, I had a demand and an urgency to be able to get something to eat, and it was also almost panic-like, and after I had the procedure it was gone. I had inner peace, which I had never felt like that before.
So I say stick with the process and make your decision; do what you need to do that’s the best for you and know that Dr. Dahiya is going to put you first. He always does. It’s not about him; it’s about helping you and you becoming the best person that you can be.
