VIDEO - HERSTORY: Terry Shares If Her Uterine Fibroids Contributed To Sexual Dysfunction

June 25, 2009 - 3:10pm 105 reads 0 comments

Terry recalls if her uterine fibroids resulted in sexual dysfunction.

Terry:
I don’t think so. I don’t think so, but I know that’s one of the symptoms. And what happens, I think with women, because we have such fast-paced lives is that that kind of, I don’t know, that that kind of like pain, you pass that off as nothing, and oftentimes most gynecologists will tell you, “Don’t worry about fibroids because they are not bothering you. They are not harming you. You don’t need to take them out.” And so, it’s interesting because if you do want to have a child or even if you don’t, even if you just don’t want to be in discomfort anymore, it’s really important like to seek other options.
