  My uvula is extremely long and you are not able to see the tip of the uvula because it goes down my throat and sometimes it is swollen also.

  

  What side effects are there after the removal of just your uvula, which is elongated?

  I routinely wake up with headaches and also snore. I have found that the left side of my brain feels numb. If I run exceptionally hard, I will almost pass out as if there is no oxygen ...

  My husband has always snored. Usually it is soft and rhythmic, unless he is congested. But it seems to be getting worse over the years.
