The Power of Discussion Group Participation
A brief follow-up to yesterday's posting. I said that I am now participating in a discussion group on-line. It is great in that it is specific to endometrial sarcomas.
Yesterday we got word that a woman who had been active in the group died.
I said that I might not stay with it. But I had the opposite reaction after this news as to what you might expect. I realize how I need this group to help me stay current, share with others and help myself as much as I might help others. And it also helped reinforce the power of sites like EmpowHer, too.
