Dr. Irwin Goldstein, explains the most common sexual health problems for women. Dr. Goldstein has authored more than 325 publications in the field of sexual dysfunction, with 20 consecutive years of funding by the National Institutes of Health in this area. He is Editor-in Chief of The Journal of Sexual Medicine, the official journal of the International Society for Sexual Medicine.

Dr. Goldstein:

The most common of these sexual problems is problems with sexual interest, but close behind and highly related are problems with sexual arousal, sexual orgasm. Sexual pain is of course probably the one that brings the most distress and probably brings the patients in to the office the most frequently, but it isn’t as common as the others we mentioned.
