If you want to lose weight and you’re seeking guidance, help, support, go to someone who has succeeded at losing weight and keeping it off because I don’t know that anybody else truly understands the battle or the journey. You go to a doctor and they say, “Oh yeah, you really need to lose weight. Here’s a diet,” you know, on the white sheet of paper, and then they say, “Well, what do you mean, just don’t eat cake,” and it’s not that simple.
So you really need to be with somebody who understands what you’re going through and can inspire you and motivate you because they’ve walked that walk.
