Congressman Bobby L. Rush Writes Moving Tribute to Carol Blocker and Melanie Blocker Stokes
As we head to Washington D.C. this morning to celebrate with other advocates who worked so hard to pass this legislation, please read this moving tribute to Carol Blocker, the mother of Melanie Blocker Stokes, who has spent the last decade advocating for the bill which is now law.
