The results of the study suggested that naps are an important part of a toddler’s daily life and are needed for good health. Not getting that nap can have effects on the toddler’s mood and cause confusion. If parents are seeing crankiness in their child or notice that their child is having trouble concentrating on activities, they may want to re-evaluate their sleeping schedule.
