So about 2 and a half months ago I had engaged in dry hump. I had on underwear and veryyyy thin pain of skily p.js and he had in his basketball shorts. His p was rubbing against my v but we had clothes on as a barrier. After we were done I felt my clothes were a bit damp. I'm not sure if he pre-cmed or ejaculated or nothing at all, but let's say he ejaculated and given the clothes we had on is there a risk of pregnancy? I'm really scared please help!! Also during dry hump I had many assignments and tests so my sleeping and eating schedule was all messed up! After about 2 weeks or so of the day we had dry humped I got my period. However it only Lasted for two days which has never happened before. Then the next month I got my period again (they are very irregular btw) which lasted 5 days which is normal for me but the flow was very light almost as if spotting, the color was brownish and sometimes like pink, no cramps. No clots, almost watery. I was very stressed!!!! Because all I could find was implantation bleeding online. I'm very scared because I don't want to be pregnant. In addition I also did a clear blue plus home pregnancy test which came up negative both times. But I've also read online about false negative tests!! And I'm just very stressed. I've been feeling bloated lately. Like my stomach looks big!! So based on my dry hump activity is there a risk? Please help and sorry for the length of the question!

Thank you for taking the time out to read this. I know I can trust this site and I would really appreciate your help

Hello! I have a question, please help me solving this problem. On the 29th day of Sept, me and my boyfriend engaged in a dry sex, whereas we are both fully-clothed; that time, he was wearing 2 shorts and underwear, and i'm on my underwear and shorts. He ejaculated once during our dry hump session. Also i touched his area and then afterwards, he gave me an oral sex. I don't remember if i touch myself after touching his area or if he touches himself and then touches mine. But as per him, he only ejaculated once and it was during our dry sex. He assure me that he never came on his hand before touching my area. We had never engaged in an intercourse sex. But after more than a week (which is supposedly the start of my period) i had cramps and light bleeding for 2 days. Am I pregnant? I'm stressing out! Please help me to ease my mind. I'm really worried. Thank youuu.

Hello Anon

From what you have said, there is no risk of pregnancy.

A woman cannot get pregnant unless she has unprotected sex (naked) with ejaculation. She would also have to be ovulating.

We cannot tell anyone over the internet if they are pregnant. You will need to take a test to ease your mind.
Best,
Susan

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I am glad you reached out to our community with your concern that you might be pregnant.

You can stop stressing. You did not become pregnant. You cannot get pregnant by dry humping when you were both wearing clothes. The negative pregnancy test results and having your period was proof of this.

High stress is the reason for the changes in your menstrual cycle and how your period is presenting. Try your best to relax. Consider seeing a gynecologist to find ways to regulate your menstrual cycle. Oral contraceptives are often prescribed. You get the benefit of a regular menstrual cycle and protection against an unwanted pregnancy.

Regards,
Maryann

Hello Ms.Maryann and thank you for your quick response! It was highly appreciated. I'm still a little uncertain about few things though, hopefully you can help me gain a better understanding.
1.) If seman can wet clothes how come it can't seep through fabric and cause pregnancy. I ask because I've seen posts of people where they claim that during dry humping both parties had underwear and jeans on, yet they felt wet or some women saw spots on or inside their underwear. In my case I had extremely thin layers of clothes (cotton underwear, silky stretchy p.j's and thin basketball shorts). Given the these three thin layers of fabric is there any risk?
2.) Can implantation bleeding occur every month of pregancy or is it true that some women can experience period like bleeding throughout pregnancy?
3.) I've been feeling bloated lately and my stomach has come out a little, also constipated. I hear my stomach growing even though I've just ate. Could this be due to indigestion and stress or could this mean pregnancy given my scenario
I apologize for asking the question you've been asked millions of times, but your accurate response and expert will be much appreciated and it will put my mind at rest!
Thank you for taking your precious time out to read this!

Hello Anonymous,

1) Semen is thick and wet. Though the moisture will make fabric wet the contents stay inside. If you place a scoop of pudding on a kitchen towel, the towel will be damp but the pudding will not seep through.

In your case, no risk.

2) implantation occurs only once. It can happen when the fertilized egg implants in the lining of the uterus.

Though some women may have spotting during their pregnancies, this is not implantation bleeding or a period.

When you have a period, the flow is the lining of the uterus that is being shed. During pregnancy, the lining remains intact so the fertilized egg can develop into a fetus and baby.

If you have bleeding that resembles a period during a pregnancy, this is a sign of a miscarriage.

Your complaint of bloating and growling might all be due to stress and anxiety.

Regards,
Maryann
