Hello,
I was on my 6th day of my cycle (just finishing my period). The condom split so I took the first tablet of postinor2 2 hours later (1am). We then had unprotected sex 6 hours later (7am). I took the 2nd postinor tablet 3 hours later(10am).
8 days later I had heavy bleeding lasting 4 days. Firstly, is this a sign that postinor worked?
Since then i have had no sign of my period.
In the last 2 weeks (aboit 22nd day of cycle) I have had the flu and been unwell. This has all made me quite anxious.
My period cycle is quite irregular.

Hi.
I'm not sure what you mean by your period flowed for 2 weeks drop by drop. If you had bleeding, with even a light flow, you wouldn't be pregnant. You can take a pregnancy test if you are still concerned. Some women need that additional confirmation if their next period is late which can happen after taking ECP.

Hello,I took the p2 after unprotected sex and few days later I had spotting then I had sex again but didn't take the pill cz the pharmacist advised not to my period is late but I have cramps am I pregnant?

Hi,
ECP (emergency contraception) is not to be used as a regular form of birth control as it can cause irregularity in your cycle. The pharmacist was correct in advising you to not take more. The only way to know if you are pregnant is to take a test if you don't get your period within a week or two of the expected time after taking ECP.

But what if it was used unknowingly as regular birth control pill for years...and it causes Menses not to come for 4months...pls what's the solution to it

The solution is to stop taking it and see a gynecologist. You have likely caused a severe hormonal imbalance by taking this medication incorrectly.

P2 is taken after unprotected sex. It doesn't cause a pregnancy to end if you're pregnant. Take a pregnancy test to see if you are. You're only a day late.

I took postinor2 five days before my period. Im late for my 3days. Now im having my period. But the bleeding is very light,is it normal? Normally my bleeding is heavy. Will prostinor2 affect menstration flow? Will i miss my next period? Will it be implantation bleeding?

Some women do experience a change in their period's flow after ECP. It can be lighter or heavier and may be longer or shorter in duration.

Does postinor2 make menstration flow light? Is it normal? Or can it be implantation bleeding? I usually have normal bleeding and it lasted for 1 week. But now the bleeding is really light and it only lasted for 3days. Is it alright? Will i miss my next period?
