Have you ever been robbed or know someone who has had their house broken into? That is what it is like. You didn’t ask to have this invasion of your body. And it happens. And yet, there is a feeling that goes through you. “Why me? What did I do? How did I cause this?” All kinds of questions.
But no, you did not do anything. There is no shame, no blame, and no guilt. You had cancer or you have cancer and now you deal with that issue and that issue alone.
