Yes, believe it or not, it wasn’t so long ago that people were admitted to the hospital and stayed for carpal tunnel release. But now it’s an outpatient surgery. Generally it takes under a half an hour. People go home the same day.

Dr. Rohde received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed her residency at the University Of Pittsburgh Medical Center and performed her fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery-Weill Cornell Medical College.
