Hi Anonymous,

Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. It is highly unlikely that your girlfriend is pregnant from what you explained.

If she is taking birth control and antibiotics, you should always use a backup method of birth control as any sort of antibiotics will negate the purpose of the birth control pills. Oral sex will not make you pregnant so you are both fine there.

The delay in her period may be caused by many things but I will assume that her period will show up any day now. Delayed periods are not that uncommon. I hope this helps and good luck.

Thank you very much for your reply. No,as of now she is not taking any birth control. Can you please suggest that is there any necessity to take the birth control if there can you please suggest any birth control? We both are software engineer and is going with a very stressful project,is it may be a chance of her late period? We both are very much worried about it and can you please suggest how long we should wait for her period.
