The start of my most recent period was on Feb 26 - projected ovulation date being March 14, projected next period March 28 (via MyMonthlyCycles, where I have been keeping track of my period for 1 year). Average cycle - 30 days.
We had protected intercourse on March 3 and 24. The condom didn't break; slipped down maybe an inch but we pushed it right back up.
Now my period is 3 or 4 days late (depending if you count the 28th), with no usual signs of cramping etc that I normally get. Took two HPT's and both came out negative. Discharge looks normal, no tenderness of breasts or anything. I have had a little bit of an upset stomach but I think I may just be getting sick - I am under quite a bit of stress.
I know it's unlikely that I am pregnant, but I am paranoid since I can't afford to have a child right now. I have heard that stress really can throw off a regular period (I have been regular for 8 years now), but I have a hard time believing it since I am so paranoid... help? I don't know what's wrong with me!
Have a GYNO appt coming up in a month, but I'm the type of person who likes to know without going to the doc! It sure would be nice if my period would come!

But this happened on my first son,I was 4half weeks before I got a positive,very faint positive.is history repeating itself?I have sore boobs,diarrhea every morning.cant eat,gag on strong smells and 3days ago I had a brownish discharge for an hr or 2. Dont mind whether I am preg or not,I just want to know for definite. Any help out there?

Hi, im very worried right now, i have an average of 29 days . My bf and i had sex last month 2 days after my period. Now im 4 dauys late. I feel light cramps in my tummy,like the feeling i get before my period but its not happening. Could i be pregnant?

Hello Anonymous,
Thank you for your question. Try to relax because stressing over this can actually cause a delay in the start of your period. It is unlikely that you were ovulating two days after your last period ended. But, wait and if your period is late by at least seven days, then take a home pregnancy test.

Help ladies!!! I just delivered my 3rd baby last 31 march 2014. I had normal period on 5 july 2014. Had unprotected sex july 28-31. I didnt get my period today aug 5. Am i possibly pregnant?? Cant afford to get pregnant as of now. Any views?

I can appreciate that this in not a good time in your life to have another baby.
Wait until you are late by at least one week, then take a home pregnancy test. There is always the risk for pregnancy when you have unprotected sex at the time of ovulation.

Hello Lyn,
Unless you are tracking when you ovulate it is difficult to pinpoint when it actually happens.I can appreciate how stressful this must be. But, by taking a test you will get an answer and hopefully, stop worrying.

Hi I am a 30day cycle my last period was on the 3rd of July 2014 I ovulated the 16th to the 21st and of course had intercourse with my husband. 6 days before my next period was due I had two days of some brown blood just enough for a liner.
August 5, 2014 - 2:29amI was due on the 3rd august for my period I am now 3 days late. I took a home pregnancey test it was negative. I have a slight whitish discharge needing a liner could I be pregnant or is it stress as the brown blood was not something that happened to me
