Hi,
I'm 17-years-old and I had intercourse for the very first time today with my boyfriend...and yes, we did used a condom. Now, about 3 hours after we had sex, I feel gassy, a crampy and a little bloated. The gass is actually very painful at times. Is this normal? As for my cycle, incase thats what is causing my discomfort, its about 32 or 33 days and I'm on day 25 or 26.
Please help.
Thanks!

I had sex with my boyfriend yesterday and I've been bloated and a little gassy. We used a condom, but once I looked down I saw that the condom was a little big. Is this bad?

Hi Anonymous,

By "was a little big", do you mean it looked full of semen? If so, that is good. All the ejaculated semen was caught in the condom.

Hello Anonymous,

Keep an eye on it. If the bloating increases or persists, consider speaking with your gynecologist.

Bloating and gas are usually tied to something you ate. Vigorous intercourse could have left you with an usual feeling of fullness in your pelvic area.

My Boyfriend and I started having sex in April, it was my first time. Every time we have sex it is with a condom unless it is oral.
When I first had sex with him I bled pretty hard and hard horrible cramps to the point I really didnt want to try again. I haven't been bleeding badly unless I'm on my cycle. But every so often if we do have sex I have cramps. Like currently we had sex on Monday night I am having cramps I give them a rating of a 5 cause it's not extremely bad I been taking pain pills Is that ok? Am I gonna be ok ?

I need someone's help as well.. I had unprotected sex 1 day (yesterday) before my fertile window ( not ovulation day) I have been a little gassy and bloated. I read that the best time to get pregnant is to have sex 2-3 days before ovulation, I'm just a little worried I could get pregnant. Can anyone help?

You guys arent pregnant! The only thing going on in your tummies may be pressure to the anal canal, air being pumped in as rosa said and maybe a bruised cervix. You should be worried if you feel any major intense pain, or any vaginal bleeding, or even vommitting, weakness, or fever. Also soreness is typical after sex and can last anywhere between 3-5 days. If the pain continues past this then it might be wise to seek out a doctor.
