I had sex three months ago, and I have had two periiods since. I have a period two weeks after I lost my virginity, and then another one a month later, that one was exceptionally heavy. But this month I have not. Well not yet. It was due this week but they aren't 100% regular cause I'm only 16. Do you think I could be pregnant. I am so worried because if I am I'd be like 3 months pregnant. and I've just started my a levels so I'm stressing about them too. But if I go to doctors its hard to get to them because I live in a village in countryside with no shops. I'm stressing so much. Can any of you offer me some help or advice? Thank you.

Hello Anonymous,

Have you had unprotected sex since your last period? If so, then you could be pregnant and that is why your period is late by one week. In this situation, you should take a home pregnancy test.

If you have not had unprotected sex since your last period, relax. Do you normally have regular menstrual cycles?

Regards,
Maryann

I had sex november 21, 2014, had period first week of decemeber, but it was light and not red. Now my period is usually irregular but for the past six- 8 months it usually starts within first week of the month. I had my period again first week of january and that time it was very red and regular. I have not yet had my period this month. I have also been staying over my parents house and eating a lot, cause free food. I took a test last month it was negative. Should I take another one this month or wait till I get my period again. I read somewhere that women can still get there period while pregnant. Should I be worried?

I had sex on December 25th and then got my period January 3rd. It was a normal period with my normal symptoms, but I am still nervous about being pregnant. I have always been irregular so I know it could be that. I have not had any pregnancy symptoms. My boyfriend and I did not use a condom for about a minute during sex and then stopped as we were both nervous about pregnancy. I am also very stressed right now which I know can cause the delay of period. Do you think I could be pregnant?
