I had my fallopian tubes removed due to multiple etopic pregnancies. I still have my ovaries, so can I still get pregnant?

jkelly1111- I am currently in my 21st week of pregnancy and got pregnant naturally with no tubes. The doctors really don't know how the egg made its way to the uterus, they can only speculate. And their thought is that there was a hole in my uterus from where the tube once was and somehow the egg just landed perfectly inside, which is near impossible. I didn't take a test for a month because it didn't even cross my mind that I could be pregnant, nor did I even attempt to research it because medically speaking, it just doesn't make sense. I actually even joined a 2nd gym because of the "full" feeling in my abdomen. lol After I was a month late, I finally took a test to "rule out" a pregnancy just as a starting point. Boy was I shocked! Did you ever take a test?

Oh wow! That is so awesome! I ended up starting my period right before I went to get the test. I was really stressed out so I think thats why I was delayed. I DID find a place that does IVF for 6800.00. I was really excited about that! All of the other places were around 15K. If I dont have a miracle in the next 3 yrs it looks like Im going that route. Thanks for sharing your story! It gives us all HOPE. :)

Hi Zoe1302. Yes the clinic is called the Fertility Centers of New England and its located in Reading, Massachusetts. Its very interesting. Heres the link www.fertilitycenter.com/ If you dont get pregnant in two cycles the third is FREE. 6800 first cycle, if you decide to do a second its still 6800 but the third is free. I think that fee is worth it. :)

mshopeful: I just want to assure you that I am indeed pregnant (I posted earlier), I got pregnant naturally, and I have no tubes. After two ectopic pregnancies and having gone through IVF for my youngest, I would NEVER write something that was not true. I understand through experience how devastating the loss of a child is and also how devastating it is to not be able to get pregnant after losing my tubes. The doctors do not know how I got pregnant, but I am. I am in my 15th week and everything is going well. Keep your hopes up because while it certainly seems impossible and it may be unlikely, it IS possible.

I had two three days embryos implanted in my uterus trough IVF on Dec 10-2011. I have gotten my period on Friday Dec-30-2012, that means i am not pregnant anymore. Since yesterday i started to feel tenderness and sore boobs, and the ends are tuning dark. Can i still possible be pregnant?

I had my first ivf procedure the same day: 12/10/11... Unfortunately we are not pregnant. We are on ivf #3. What is your status as of today?
