Hi I had intercouse with my bf 5 days after my period we use protection an after I took postinor 2 pills beacause I think precum got on my virginia I took one pill a few minutes after an the other 12 hours after that but I am spotting brown an I am getting lower back an belly pains is this normal? I don't want to get pregnant

I have unprotected sex with my GF 5 days after her ovulation period and she took positioner 2 two hours after the sex, am worried about her getting pregnant. Her period starts on 1/10/2016 and we have unprotected sex on 25/10/16.can the positioner 2 still work?

Postinor 2 prevents pregnancy by delaying or preventing ovulation. If she took it after ovulation, there was no point and the pill would not prevent pregnancy.
However, a released egg can live about 24 hours. So, if the unprotected sex happened five days after ovulation, there is a good chance she did not become pregnant.
Wait for her period. If she is late by at least seven days, she should test for pregnancy. Or, she can use an early response pregnancy test and test about five days before her period due date.

Hi!
So I had unprotected sex but I managed to take Postinor 2 in time. My question is-- if Postinor prevents the egg from leaving the ovaries (that's how it works, right? I saw a video on it) then isn't it already too late if you have sex after your ovulation period? Cause the egg is already out? You only discharge one egg per month so what is the point?

You are correct. Postinor prevents pregnancy by delaying or preventing ovulation. Indeed, one ovary releases one egg each month. So, if taken after ovulation, Postinor will do nothing to prevent pregnancy. There is no point in taking it after ovulation.

What happens if I have unprotected sex with my GF throughout the day and she starts taking postinor 2 twenty four hours after the last sex session, with it be effective in preventing pregnancy assuming we had like five sessions of unprotected sex?

pls I took the postinor pill within 24hrs after unprotected sex but I took the 2nd pill 19hrs late. is it likely that it won't work. pls can I take a second pack of the pill since am not sure the 1st pack may work
