Q:

I never want to do anything or go anywhere?

Every time I come home I always think I don't want to go to school or work or hang out with friends. I just want to go home. I wanna be comfortable. I just want to stay in my room and be left alone. I don't feel motivated to do anything. I really just get exhausted from everything that I am doing and just want to be by myself all the time.
I signed myself up for a few things but I regret my decisions. I initially did it to make myself more social and gain new experiences but I just feel like it's a waste of time. I think back to the time I was in high school and I was so motivated, ambitious, and disciplined and now...I've lost all of that completely. I just feel empty. Anything I do feels pointless and being around people is draining.

I don't know how to fix this. I feel like life will be a lot less draining if I was motivated...but I don't even know where to start.

Everything you're saying is explaining me but my problem is I know sunlight and exercise and getting out will help me I make plans to do it everyday but it never happens what hurts me the most if I have 3 boys and I don't want to be the kind of mom that doesn't do anything I don't feel like I'm depressed because I'm not unhappy with my life only the fact that I can't get motivated enough to do anything

Sounds like you grew up and figured out life, realized that its pointless and then you die. On the other hand if you dont enjoy anything at all , its a different story and you may have actual medical condition.

Too many "doctors" write off problems with pills and depression diagnoses now days. I feel its wrong telling people of extreme and to most scary potential outcomes. Impressionable individuals may experience the placebo effect. Especially if they have a personality with a hypochondriac trait.

Many many more questions need to be asked, for starters, what is the alternative to " not doing anything or going anywhere", the actual task, and how do you feel doing it?

It sounds like you may be a college student, are you leading an active life style, physical activity? Get enough rest and how do you sleep?
