Over dosage of Postinor 2

I took both pills in one dosage, is this dangerous or less effective? Also, what are the usual side effects after taking the pills and how soon after? I took the pills about a 17 days ago and now I'm spotting ( not heavy but blood is present). Could this be a side effect?

Hi, I had intercourse on the 31st of July but the condom broke and he didn't ejaculate but just in case I took postinor 3 hours later. I was expecting my period on the 5th of August but it came on the 10th and lasted as normal(6days).Now my period should come close to the 30th of August. Would there be any reason for me to be worried about a possible pregnancy as my breasts hurt more than they usually do before menstruation and it might be just my paranoia that my tummy looks bigger ? thank you

Hello Anonymous,

There should be no concern about a possible pregnancy unless you had unprotected sex since the end of your last period, which would be after August 16.

Hi Anonymous,

What do you mean by "in a long run"?

I am guessing you want to know if there would be side effects if your girlfriend takes Postinor 2 frequently as a form of birth control. Yes, she will seriously upset the normal hormonal balance that controls the menstrual cycle.

Postinor 2 is designed to be use in emergency situations of unprotected sexual intercourse and not as a regular form of birth control.

Regards,
Maryann

Hi. I took postinor the single dose during my fertile period ie. 5 days after my period because my bf and I had sex and the condom came off and he came in me. I took the pill between 48-50 hours after intercourse. 7 days after taking the pill, i had light pink discharge and thought i was gonna come on my period, it only lasted a few minutes and since then nothing. my nipples are really tender to the touch and have mild cramping but that is it, no bleeding. Is it possible the pill didnt work? My period is due on the 24th August this month.

I took postinor 2 after a day sex then after two days of another sex then I took another one. But I made a mistake by taking an alcohol after 3 hours am so much confused if the last one I took could be effective for up to three days as it supposed to be.
