I have pain just below the last rib on my right side. Could it be my liver?

There are several possibilities.
It could be intercostal muscle irritation, a problem with your liver or gallbladder or a problem with the lower part of your lung or your diaphragm.
Are you having any other symptoms? How long have you been having the pain? Does anything make it better or worse?
