Hi Anon

I have not heard of mental illnesses causing bad vision but it may be her medications that are causing it - that is certainly possible.

If your daughter is hallucinating, including auditory hallucinations, she may not be bipolar (although she may have several diagnoses) , she may have something like schizophrenia and needs immediate medical care. My advice is to call her doctor straight away or take her to the emergency room. Please do this today and will you keep us posted?
