I meant to share this link last week but with the rush of Thanksgiving I forgot. Here it is anyway. My wish is to acknowledge the sacrifice and total commitment caregivers offered when caring for a love one. Being a caregiver myself, I have learned so much this past year about patience, service, loving and hope. One thing I still need to work hard at is "self-care". There is nothing worse than a tired, ran-down, sleep deprived, mal-nourished caregiver. As a health/wellness coach I must practice what I preach, correct? So, if you are one of those who cares for a love one, make sure you do not neglect your health. Here is a website that can help find resources for caregivers. http://www.nfcacares.org/national_family_caregiver_month/
