Sub-Conditions
The adrenals are two small glands located on top of each kidney. They secrete many important hormones that maintain blood pressure, blood sugar, kidney function, overall fluid and salt levels as well as hormones that affect sexual development. Adrenal conditions are rare but can be serious because of the widespread effect of the different adrenal hormones.
