Disease Of The Uterus - Uterus Problems - Problems With The Uterus

The uterus (womb) is the reproductive organ where the fetus develops. Cells lining the uterus form the endometrium that is sloughed off each month during the menstrual cycle. When the endometrium forms outside the uterus, endometriosis develops. Other uterine conditions include uterine prolapse (due to weakened muscle support), fibroids or cancer.
