The first thing I said was, “I didn’t even know this was a possibility.” I had gone in to have a hysterectomy because of fibroids. So when they called me, I had my surgery on a Friday, so when they called me on Monday to tell me they had found cancer, the first thing I said to her was, "I didn’t even know this was a possibility" because I was just stunned. When I went in, we weren’t even looking for anything like that.
