Personal Chef Melissa Costello explains why a woman will not constantly feel hungry while participating in the 30-day vegan cleanse.

Chef Melissa Costello:
The 30-day cleanse; it is a vegan cleanse. You will be eating a lot of food on the 30-day cleanse and it’s all vegan so there’s a lot of nuts, beans, seeds, grains, legumes, a lot of vegetables of course, a lot of leafy green vegetables, different types of vegetables and even though people feel like they might be missing protein and things like that that they get from meat, they will not be missing these core things.

Their body will really benefit because the protein is kind of more bioavailable in the vegetable form, in the grain form and in the legume form and their body digests it easier. It kind of utilizes into the body much quicker and definitely you will not be starving.

A lot of people, there are so many complex carbohydrates also in this cleanse that it really satiates you; it fills you up; it satiates you. You don’t feel hungry and your body is using these complex carbohydrates as fuel instead of storing them. So whenever you eat whole foods, whole unprocessed foods your body is going to burn it and use it as fuel. So it’s going to give you more energy.
