Personal Chef Melissa Costello describes her business, Karma Chow, and recalls who her service benefits.
Chef Melissa Costello:
Karma Chow is a personal chef service. It’s all vegetarian and I also offer meal delivery in the local Los Angeles area. I work with people leading 30-day cleanses and I also work one-on-one with people doing wellness coaching and nutrition education.
My typical customer comes to me, usually they are actually pretty healthy but they want to kind of take their health to the next level. They want to take their eating to the next level.
They are already fit, exercising and eating fairly healthy, but they want to kind of take that next extra step. They don’t really know what to do so they need to be educated so I usually help them kind of take that next extra step to really clean eating and changing their lifestyle. It’s about a lifestyle, which I mentioned before.

Melissa Costello, the founder of Karma Chow, has always had a passion for healthy, delicious food and nutrition. After years of struggling with a minor eating disorder, she became a vegetarian at age 19 and began experimenting with healthier versions of everyday recipes, which led to her fascination for cooking.
