You know, you have to, before you go to a party, before you go to Thanksgiving, before you go anywhere where you know there’s going to be food, imagine that it is the end of the evening. You’re back home and how do you feel? Really, go and visualize just that the future, not so far into the future, just that night, and when you get home, do you want to feel upset with yourself? Do you want to feel proud? Do you want to even have that you still have a couple of hundred calories left over from the day, and maybe you want to sit down and have a cup of tea and a dessert and really sit alone and enjoy it?
You don’t have to eat everything when you’re out. It’s like, think to the end of the day, and how do you want to feel at the end of the day and put that in your mind's eye and take it with you.
