Anytime you have penis to vagina contact, you put yourself at unnecessary risk for unwanted pregnancy. Please read the articles, and/or responses from others on this thread for more detailed information and to educate yourself so you are informed and can advocate for yourself. Thanks!

On Monday, my boyfriend rubbed his penis against the side of my vagina. I'm not sure if it touched the labia. I don't know if I should take the emergency contraceptive because the chance is really low?

Hi Anonymous,
Thanks for your question and for finding EmpowHER.
I'm not sure what you mean by "the side of your vagina." But this kind of sexual activity is putting you at risk for pregnancy. Yes, the chance is low without real penetration, but still...

This is a very exciting time in your life, no doubt. It should be fun, and not stressful by risking pregnancy.

I'm a couple of days over due for my period. Me and my fiancé were making out, and he ejaculated then cleaned it off fairly well with tissue and even changed pants, he then my vaginal area but I was wearing fairly thick tights and a liner. is there a possibility k could be pregnant because of this? I realise it's highly unlikely, but my period is quite late. also, i'm not sure if me being extremely stressed out, and not being able to eat properly and even losing a couple of kilos has anything to do with my period being delayed..? also a couple of days ago, he felt the surface of my vagina, which wasn't very moist. he didn't have any semen on his hands, but about 15min prior to that I had semen moisture on my hand which I wiped off. again, any chance here? I'm having a white, creamy discharge and getting abdominal cramps here and there. from what I know the discharge is a sign of ovulation, or pregnancy...any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated an I'll be more than haappy to elaborate if what I asked is confusing to comprehend...thank you!

sorry, jst to correct something...after he cleaned off and changed pants, and after about 15min or so he felt* my vaginal area and i felt like it was moist on the inside, so if that "turned -on" moisture had seeped thru the tights and come into contact with any sperm that MIGHT'VE remained on his hands on the outside, could that get me pregnant?

Hi Anonymous

You cannot get pregnant through clothing. Also your lubrication cannot make you pregnant. The odds of a sperm being on his clean hands and swimming up your vaginal canal to fertilize an egg are basically zero.

If you've missed a period you can test but the situation you describe will not result in pregnancy. If you are having an unusual discharge I suggest you see your health care provider for an exam to rule out infection. You may need treatment like antibiotics.

Good luck.
