I had my period that finished last week and 2 days later I have sore breasts, back pain, heart burn, feeling tired and can smell things more .Can I still be pregnant and thought I had a period but it wasn't ? I have a 1 year old who when I carried him from finding out till I had him 7 months I bled every time I went to the loo they said my placenta was low . What do I do? Shall I take a test or wait a while? Or could it be something else?

Hello anonymous,

I doubt you conceived on June 21, just a day after you finished your period and used a spermicide. It would be too early to have any sign of pregnancy, especially lower back pain.

A woman knows her body and there is no such thing as "too early to tell" I knew I was pregnant a day after I had sex that I conceived and I was right. I felt mild cramps as if I was gonna start my period again and nausea. Trust your instinct and buy a pregnancy test.

Hi,

My boyfriend ejaculated inside of me twice earlier this month, and i recently had my period last week. However, i'm experiencing severe back pain, cramps, and my breasts feel sore. Could i be pregnant even if i already had my period? Help.

Hi Anonymous,

If you had a normal period, then you are not pregnant. I cannot guess why you are experiencing severe back pain, cramps and breast tenderness. If this persists or worsens, please contact your doctor.

I had the implant in for about a year decided to have it removed as wanted my 3rd child. When on implant I had a period 13/6 till 17/6 had implant removed on 20/6. My n partner have been having unprotected sex since the 18/6. I woke up yesterday morning n my boobs are killing me they are swollen, nipples hurt, darker in colour and blue veins are up. I also have backache n nausea. Just wondering if there's any chance that I am pregnant? As was told I would be at risk of pregnancy straight after the removal of implant. Also being that this would be my 3rd pregnancy everything happens quicker as your body already knows what to do. Just want to know what you think please.

Hello Anonymous,

I think three days after having the implant removed is far too early to become pregnant and show any signs.

I had unprotected sex the day I started my period (6/3/16) with my boyfriend, but he pulled out. I've been cramping and feeling sick to my stomach since I got off (6/8/16). I took a shot of margarita and threw it up almost immediately and my breast started feeling sore all day yesterday. Could I be pregnant? Need huge advice cause I don't know what to do right now.

Hello Anonymous,

Relax. You would not have become pregnant by having intercourse on the day your period started. To become pregnant, there needs to be a released egg waiting to be fertilized by sperm.

Most women ovulate between day 11 to day 21 of their menstrual cycle. The first day of your period is day 1.

Yeah? Tell that to my son, conceived on the first day of my period 4 years ago. Guess I ovulated early...
