I took both pills in one dosage, is this dangerous or less effective? Also, what are the usual side effects after taking the pills and how soon after? I took the pills about a 17 days ago and now I'm spotting ( not heavy but blood is present). Could this be a side effect?

There is no need to take an emergency contraceptive.
When you are having or have just finished your period, you are not ovulating. In order to conceive, you must have unprotected sexual intercourse during the time, five days before and on the day of ovulation.
In a 28 day menstrual cycle, ovulation generally happens about 14 days before the start of your next period.

I did the same thing (take Postinor 2sd a day after my period) and vaginal bleeding began 6 days after taking the pill. I am bleeding for 2 days now. When can I expect the bleeding to stop? Will this side effect affect any future pregnancy? Please help!!!!

You should never take Postinor 2 more than one in one month. You have overdosed and upset the hormonal balance that regulates your menstrual cycle. Any further concerns must be discussed with your physician.

had sex on the night of the 30th October i took postinor 2 on the 1st November my period was due 8th November. no period yet. could it be delayed???? advise on what may be happening. please, thanks in advance.

Postinor 2 should be taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse in the event of contraceptive failure, like the condom broke.
If you had intercourse on the last day of her period, there is no risk for pregnancy because it was too early for her to ovulate.
