Are you laughing yet? I am sure collecting compliments is not on the top of your TO Do list for 2014, right? But I am talking about the compliments you give to yourself. Do you have an easier time insulting yourself than being your own best friend? As women, we are so tough on ourselves, especially silently in our own heads. This year I want you to resolve to love yourself and give yourself compliments! Make that space between your ears a friendly place for you to hang out.

Every time that inner critic of yours says something negative ... STOP IT. Replace it with a compliment.
Recognize that sometimes thoughts just pop into our heads. If it's not a nice thought, dismiss it. Choose not to believe it. Move on to a positive thought.

Think of one kind thing to say about yourself before you go to bed at night.
Give genuine compliments to others. Make sure you pay one nice compliment to one person a day. It's good practice for how you should be with yourself too!
