Kay-Kayes Shares Her Pancreatic Cancer Symptoms (VIDEO)

The symptoms that I had is, for pancreatic were, like any other stomach pains. That’s why they call it "the silent killer" because it is undiagnosed sometimes. I would bend over sometimes in pain. I could bend over and touch my toes, and I just thought it was stress.

I would get very tired. I was an avid tennis player, and it was like I thought, it’s just me, you know, I am getting lazy, you know, or just worked a lot of hours. I lost a lot of weight. I thought that was great at first because, as a woman, I always want to go on a diet. So when you lose weight, you don’t get concerned about it, but those were things that I now watch and as I talk to other patients, you know, I’ll say, "If these symptoms occur, be checked, not only for pancreatic but anything, you know. Get in and get checked."
