I actually brought my elder one, who is 5, with me the first consultation and we were in one of the lovely rooms here. Everything is so pristine and the machines’ she loved looking around. And I told Tabitha I had a boo-boo on my leg and she could see it. It was so depressing; kids are so honest and cruel. She would look at me sometimes and say, “Ugh, you know, what happened? Boo-boo,” and I would say, “Nothing, it’s just my legs.”

So yeah, she sort of understood. I explained a little bit and then, she can see it’s better now. And they understood when I had the bandage, they saw me at home, but I just said it was a boo-boo and the doctor helped me and they were very supportive.
