Advice For Women Who Want To Lose Weight

Laura explains how her life would be different if she did not lose weight and provides advice for other women who also want to drop the pounds.

Laura:
You know, sometimes I look back and after losing 211 pounds and I don’t know that old person, but I know I might not be alive because at the time I had type-2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol, and I wasn’t feeling well. So I am pretty sure that I would not either be here or I would be very ill. So I made the choice to turn that around and live.

What I am talking to other women about losing weight, because they ask me now, I just say you have to make a decision. You cannot be in denial, you cannot rationalize because if you really want to lose the weight you make the choice and you make the change.

Some people will put an excuse in there. “Oh I have to have a drink,” or, “When I feel bad I have to eat.” You have to make the change, and I am firm with people. I say, “You have to commit yourself to a 10-week program on Lindora. You will see that you can change it and it’s easy to do once you get in the groove of it.”
