Hi, I’m Bailey Mosier. This is your EmpowHER HER Daily Dose.

Do you have a significant other that you’re kissing often and always? Well if you’re not, then maybe you should, because did you know there are actual health benefits to kissing?

If you plant a ‘wet one’ on your sweetie pie, you’re stimulating saliva production which helps wash away harmful bacteria and plaque buildup off your teeth.

Kissing eases stress. Studies have shown both men and women experience declines in cortisol, a sign of relaxation, when locking lips. Those warm fuzzies you feel from kissing aren’t all in your head.

Kissing can burn anywhere from two to six calories per minute. You’re also working face muscles when you pucker up and that may make a big difference when it comes to frown lines or less-than-perky cheeks. So the next time your other half is nearby, you may want to plant one on him.

That wraps up your EmpowHER HER Daily Dose. Join me here at EmpowHER.com every weekday for your next dose of women’s health.

I love to kiss! I always have and its even better for me because my honey is a real good kisser. We mainly keep it simple but when we get passionate we get Passionate.
