Dr. Barba:

Minimally invasive spine surgery is hard to get in some hospitals because the surgeons, perhaps the older surgeons are somewhat set in their ways, and hospitals may be set in their ways and don’t recognize these new trends that are coming along, but most modern hospitals have at least a beginning program for minimally invasive spine surgery.

Minimally invasive spine surgery is clearly the way of the future. It’s the best way to get good results and reduce risks of patients such as infection and reduce your time in the hospital.
