I twisted it right next to the ankle bone maybe a little below it to the left, it is the left foot. Hurts when I rest the foot on the front of foot. Should I be concerned?

Hi Anon,
Thank you for choosing the EmpowHER community and sharing your question! I am sorry that you are still having pain in your ankle. When the injury occurred, did you go to the doctor for an X-ray? Were you diagnosed with a sprain by a doctor? I ask because if you did not go to the doctor when you twisted it, you could have a hairline fracture or have torn the ligament. A torn ligament or broken bone would create pain that could last longer than 5-7 days.
I would definitely be concerned and see your doctor. In the meantime, here is some great information from the EmpowHER community about ankle sprains.
Anon, did this help?
Best,
Kristin
