I had a nerve block before surgery after surgery my right thumb is numb.it spread to two and a half fingers 3weeks later.its been 2yrs since surgery I'm still numb and in pain

You need to discuss this with your doctor. Were numbing issues discussed as a side effect? If not, and it has been 2.5 years, you need to follow this up. You may have permanent nerve damage but you need an evaluation to know why this happened and to get a treatment plan.
