Diagnosed with Trichotillomania, Natalie explains how she styled her hair before getting extensions and the other ways she made herself look presentable.

Natalie:
I wore a lot of headbands. If I was going out to dinner or going out at night, I would wear a headband, lots of barrettes, maybe even a cute hat. My hat collection has grown enormously in the past two years and so has my headband collection. I am always buying new ones.

Lots and lots of makeup to make myself look presentable. I never would let anyone see me without makeup, sleeping in my makeup even, and doing my makeup right in the shower with me so that I didn’t have to come out of the bathroom with no makeup on, and things like that.
