Susan Cody
A native of Ireland, Susan is a freelance writer who has also worked as a trained drama therapist - bringing the creative and literary arts to mentally and physically disabled people, and as a health care marketing coordinator. She writes a monthly newspaper column about life as an Irish woman living in America, works on two novels in her spare time and believes she'll be a hundred by the time one is published. When not with her kids, she likes to write and research about health care, politics, parenting and pop culture. She enjoys good vegetarian food and wine with friends, travelling with her family to far off places, dating her husband, an occasional girls night out, loves documentaries and can admit she watches Reality TV. She also admits to disliking exercise but does it anyway because the benefits are too good to ignore. She lives in the Midwest with the four best people on the planet.
HerStory
It is said that information is our greatest commodity and I agree. Accessing information and research has taught me an understanding of our rights and responsibilities as women. We are our own best advocates and our own best line of defense with regard to our health, our well-being and to living our lives to the utmost.
