Keri shares her frustration at not becoming pregnant right away and explains why seeing a fertility specialist eased some concerns.
Keri:
Handling the fear and anxiety of going to see a fertility specialist, I just went in there with an open mind, and we wanted to know. I went with my husband, and we wanted to know what the issue was to, and see if we could treat that issue and what our options were.
So I wasn’t really fearful, I was not fearful going in there. I was more probably frustrated, and when a woman, when I decided, when we decided to have a child, you see so many people that it happens right then and there. And when it’s not happening for a while, that aspect of it, of not becoming pregnant is the basis of all your frustration, and of course, when you want to be pregnant, when you go out, everybody that walks by you is pregnant or has a baby, and that just kind of makes it more emotional and more frustrating for you.
