Hip Replacement: What Led You To This Decision?

Bobette:
I noticed that it was more difficult for me to go up and downstairs. It was more difficult for me to walk and I was definitely having trouble sleeping on my left side and so, because I was not getting a lot of sleep I went to see my primary care doctor and after talking with him he said, “You have two choices, you have narcotics or you have hip surgery, and it’s your choice but you need to think about it.” Well, I didn’t choose to have narcotics so I chose hip replacement and in two weeks I was set up for hip replacement at McKee Medical Center.
