Hip Replacement: Which Type Did You Receive?

Bobette recalls the type of hip replacement she received at Banner McKee Medical Center.

Bobette:
I have a cemented hip. I am 72 years old, I have osteoporosis and I was not prepared to deal with the recovery that it takes for the other kind of hip replacement and you have to wait for the bone to grow around that hip, around that appliance, and that’s a much longer procedure and at 72 I figured 20 years was plenty to expect out of a hip.
