Dr. Gonzalez:

Yes, you will have scarring because there are small incisions made, but these small incisions are about half an inch in size, and there are five small incisions. With time and depending on the skin characteristics of the patient, the scarring will disappear and fade. But, remember, this is an operation to deal with a medical problem; it’s not really cosmetic surgery.
