Dr. Gonzalez:

Most patients after a LAP-BAND® or a REALIZE Band procedure can go back to work after a long weekend. The recovery is much more rapid. After about the first day, they complain of some soreness in the abdomen like they had been exercising, but they don’t feel so debilitated, so weak as in a gastric bypass procedure, and they are able to return to an office job over a long weekend’s time.
